We're asking our investors to think big and commit to an ambitious new project in the heart of Dorchester - Dorset's county town.  Completion will soon take place on Stratton House which was formerly the county council's offices.  Situated slap bang in the middle of town, the Grade II listed property features many beautiful artefacts.  When the renovations are complete, it will yield 15 units comprising nine flats and six houses, all with that all important parking!  Some of the properties will have some outside space and the renovation is expected to take about one year.

Our latest development project has started in a beautiful rural village in north Dorset.  Overlooking the ancient fort of Hambledon Hill, it comprises a period home dating from 1642 in Shroton near Blandford Forum.  It will be divided into three separate homes ranging in sizes from two to five bedrooms, each with its own garden and parking.

Featherstone Property was runner up in a prestigious national competition in Warwickshire in December.   We were nominated as Best Developer in the Landlord & Letting Show Awards with our restoration project Fordington House being the case study.

All five apartments and the main Georgian wing of our renovation project Fordington House in Dorchester have now been sold.  The main wing got far more than the original asking price due to intense interest between two rival bidders.  Andrew says:  "This project has been extremely rewarding and I hope that all the purchasers will be extremely happy at this lovely property."

Sales of two apartments have been finalised at our Dorchester project with contracts due to be exchanged very shortly on three more flats.  Carpets are due to be put down this week (2 Sept) in the main property, Fordington House, which will then go on the market for £550,000 immediately afterwards.  This beautiful property with its numerous original features boasts nearly 3,700 sq feet of accommodation, extensive parking and private gardens.

We are delighted to report that all five flats at our Dorchester renovation are under offer

Our open day in March attracted lots of interest and the improving property market has been a great catalyst.  The main house is still undergoing renovation but will be on the market shortly so watch this space!

The sun shone as guests enjoyed guided tours of our Dorchester renovation's open day on 22 March. Work is progressing well with two flats already under offer and significant interest in the main Georgian house.

There is substantial interest in our Dorchester renovation project which is now underway with offers on two flats and a family hoping to buy the main Georgian house.  The top three flats are almost finished (Jan 30) and the roof comes off this week so the building will soon be watertight.  We will be holding an open day at the house in March so watch this space!

Completion on our latest property took place on 26th November and builders started work the next day.   Funds of £500,000 came forward in just a few days. The Georgian mansion on the outskirts of Dorchester, Dorset's vibrant county town, also has a Victorian wing ripe for renovation and a number of self contained flats.  Watch this space for progress!
