Here are some examples of a selection of the properties that have been purchased and developed over the last few years. Typically they have been purchased with refurbishment or conversion potential and normally works have been carried out to ‘add value’ to the properties. Some have been sold, but others have been retained for the rental portfolio.

Former council offices presented a real challenge with our most ambitious project yet.  Purchased in 2015, Stratton House in Dorset’s county town of Dorchester, will be finished in July 2016.  The renovation of this extensive Georgian project will yield 22 flats, apartments and houses, all with their own parking.  A host of original features including impressive fireplaces, intricately carved cornices, shutters and beautifully decorated balustrades and staircases have made this is a really interesting project to work on.  A number of apartments and a house were reserved months before the show properties were open.  The properties are being sold through Dorchester agent DOMVS with prices starting at £155,000.

A neglected, rambling farmhouse overlooking one of Dorset’s most famous landmarks, the Roman fort of Hambledon Hill, was given a thorough renovation in 2015-2016 and transformed into three country retreats.  Located in the charming village of Shroton, also known as Iwerne Courtney, sizes ranged from a bijou two bedroomed cottage to a spacious five bedroomed house, with two properties were bought by the same purchaser.  All the houses had charming period features, a garden and parking.

Hidden in the winding streets of Dorchester’s prettiest area we found an enormous Georgian house with vast potential.  We split it into a main house with several apartments and all sold like hot cakes during 2015.  Fordington House needed huge amounts of resources, time and effort but the results were impressive as superb original features were combined with all the luxury and comfort of 21st century living.

The beautiful Georgian city of Bath is home to one of our most ambitious projects to date - the restoration of a truly stunning Grade II listed villa.  As well as having a wealth of original Georgian features including a graceful staircase, lovely fireplaces and an elegant iron verandah, the property has a far reaching views across the city, nine garages, a small paddock and even a garden! It was completed in 2015 and the current tenant is hoping to buy this very special property.
