Bath
The beautiful Georgian city of Bath is home to the restoration of a truly stunning Grade II listed villa. As well as having a wealth of original Georgian features including a graceful staircase, lovely fireplaces and an elegant iron veranda, the property has far reaching views across the city, nine garages, a small paddock and garden. We rented the property for a few years before it was sold.
Westbourne, Bournemouth
Obtained Planning permission to convert a large 4 bedroom flat on the first floor into 4 individual flats. Also converted 2 separate flats to the side of the property from one bedroom flats to two bedroom flats. Purchased freehold of the bank building and rented to NatWest for 6 years before selling to an investor.
Southbourne, Bournemouth
Converted top floor studio flat into a 2 bedroom flat. Purchased first floor flat and obtained planning consent to divide it into 2 one bedroom flats.
Purchased ground floor flat and obtained planning consent to divide it into 2 one bedroom flats and build a new flat in the rear garden.
Dorchester
Former council offices presented a real challenge. Purchased in 2015, Stratton House in Dorset’s county town of Dorchester, was completed in July 2016. The renovation of this extensive Georgian project yielded 17 flats, apartments and houses, all with their own parking. A host of original features including impressive fireplaces, intricately carved cornices, shutters and beautifully decorated balustrades and staircases.
Alum Chine, Bournemouth
This project was a 50:50 Joint Venture with an investor. We purchased freehold of block containing 4 non self-contained flats. Obtained planning consent and refurbished all flats, changing layouts to make them all self-contained. Sold flats off on individual 125 year leases followed by selling the freehold a year later.
Fordington, Dorchester
A Georgian house with vast potential, this was also a 50:50 Joint Venture with an investor. We split the property into a main house with several apartments which all sold like hot cakes. Fordington House needed huge amounts of resources, time and effort but the results were impressive as superb original features were combined with all the luxury and comfort of 21st century living.
